Oftentimes you might get an error from UCDP stating that UCDP report submission failure. Here are the steps you can take to resolve it or find out the cause:

1. Go to Dashboard

2. Look for the order

3. If the order has a  icon then click on it

4. Most of the time, this will tell you what the issue is.

The issue could be any of the following (see below on how to resolve each of them):

  • Duplicate submission
Duplicate Submission
This basically means that you have already submitted an order to UCDP that has the same Loan # for that Lender (please note that Loan # s are private to Lenders as far as UCDP is concerned)

1. Go to https://www.uniformdataportal.com
2. Login using your credentials. If you do not have it please ask your system administrator
3. Search the order by the Loan #
4. If you see a previous submission then that means that a different order was submitted from your system using the same Loan #

NOTE: UCDP only allows one Loan # per order. Therefore, you CANNOT submit more than one orders (with the same Loan #) for the same loan.

If it is the case above, then your solutions boil down to the following,
1. Turn OFF UCDP on the order with the hard stop
2. Submit the XML as normal
3. Submit the same XML to the original order (the one that has already been submitted to UCDP) -- The best way to locate this order is by searching by the Loan # in your system.

Please note that the above only applies if both XMLs are for the SAME property.

We recommend NOT undertaking any of the steps if you are NOT sure about the consequences of doing the above.
